K9APE® Machine
Vision Inspection Systems are readily adapted for inspection of concave
cylindrical products - such as machined bores. Inspection can occur during or
after the manufacturing process.
The image shown below is of a 1 inch (25 mm)
complex machined valve bore having several different diameters in a casting.

Our K9APE® Machine Vision
Inspection System generated the following image of the top surface and the
complete 360 degree side wall of the machined valve bore.

Machining characteristics, such as in this
example, are readily detected and measured by our K9APE® Machine
Vision Inspection Systems. Images of higher quality can be obtained during
manufacture.
