K9APE® Machine Vision Inspection Systems
for
Microscopic Targets

Tissue

K9APE® Machine Vision Inspection Systems are readily adapted for inspection of microscopic targets such as 1 x 3-inch or larger glass slides.  Images can be used by a microscopist for detailed study or can be analyzed automatically by our custom software.

We do not offer systems for inspection or analyses of human tissue.  Nevertheless, we receive requests for images of tissue slides.  Therefore, we offer the following images:

1.   Appendix

2.   Bone Marrow

3.   Liver

4.   Ovary

5.   Tamarii DOG

6.   Uterus

These images are JPEG compressed from ~25 Megabytes to ~2½ Megabytes.  Therefore, they will require several seconds to download.  They also have been distorted by the JPEG compression process so that very fine detail seen in original images has been lost.

The color images are from a 5 mm x 6 mm portions of tissue samples mounted on glass microscope slides. An adjoining panel in each image is from a portion of a calibration slide in which the principal divisions are in millimeters and the smallest divisions are in 10-micrometers.  That size was chosen for this page because of INTERNET browser limitations.  Our systems can image entire glass slides (1 x 3-inch or larger) in color or B/W.  They can also be integrated into continuous feed production systems.

K9APE® Machine Vision Inspection Systems can be used with microscopes or integrated into production machinery for metrology and other analyses.  Data can be used to produce statistical reports or to generate output signals for control of process variables. Data can also be logged for warranty purposes or for conducting experiments on manufacturing tolerances.
